Trowel or shovel
Raised bed soil
Watering can or garden hose with sprinkler nozzle
Step 1.
Choose a spot for your raised bed that receives full sun (6-8 hours, per day).
Step 2.
Fill the raised bed with raised bed soil. Using your hands or a trowel, dig a hole for the cabbage as deep as the pot the cabbage came in.
Step 3.
Fill in the hole around your plant, and press the soil firmly around the base of the plant to remove any air pockets.
Step 4.
Gently water your plant using a watering can or a hose with a sprinkler nozzle.
Step 5.
Feed your plant according to fertilizer label instructions.
